Initial Teacher Training with LEAP
There are two routes into teaching – studying an unsalaried QTS or PGCE at university, or on the job training.
The first route into teaching involves studying at university to gain a teaching qualification, and then applying for teaching jobs.
LEAP schools also offer Post-graduate Teaching Apprenticeships. This route into teaching combines academic qualification with the practical skills you need to become a teacher while learning on the job in our vibrant and innovative schools.
